I lucked out when I got to go to Alaska. My parents were planning to go on an Alaskan cruise for their anniversary the summer I was to spend in England, but their cruise ship ran aground and had to go into dry-dock for repairs the week before their cruise was scheduled. Unfortunately, that meant that their cruise was cancelled. Princess Cruiseline was nice enough to give them lots of credits for the same cruise at a later date, a cruise they happened to take one year later when - woo hoo! - I had no plans of being out of the country. So I got to go along! The trip started with a 3-day land tour by train and finished with a 4-day cruise. Off of the top of my head, I can't remember everywhere we went and in what order, so this page is going to have to stay under construction for a while until I dig that up and get some pictures. I do remember that it was a ton of fun and I met a lot of great people, including on of my oldest friends (and I can say that because he is older than me), Han, who, in theory, will show up in some of my pictures when I finally find them and scan them. Oooh, decade old pictures. Fun!
Yes, this page is still....
